Flowers anyone?

The weather has progressed from "not so great" to "down right icky" today. Instead of thinking about all the things I could be doing outside, I figured it was a good time to sit INSIDE with a cup of tea and put up some of the pictures from last weekend...when the weather was great.

The morels have started, and while the spot we pick isn't ideal it always gives us a meal or three.

The garden's mostly in

We got most of the cold weather stuff in this weekend while the weather cooperated, as well as the tomatoes (which are tucked away in the red Kozy Kotes, which can give up to 12 degrees of frost protection). The stuff like beans and squash will go in in a few weeks. 


Tonight, the lambs were also Mostly In The Garden...

Trouble makers.

 

Snow day.

Funny thing about weather, it looks a lot worse when you are out in it. 

An easy way to kill time.

The lambs started coming last week with the bad weather. Now that the weather's a little nicer it's been way too easy to head outside and kill time watching the lambs play.
